On Thursday, the Arizona Senate defeated five bills aimed at illegal immigration in a marked departure from last year, when enactment of tough state enforcement measure S.B 1070 put the Grand Canyon State at the heart of a fierce national debate on illegal immigration.

As previously reported by The New American, Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce (picture, left) had introduced a series of five bills dubbed “S.B. 1070 on steroids,â€

These employers enjoy the benefits of hiring illegals and paying them below minimum wages, anyone can see that.

Lobbyists for local hospitals also claimed that the bill’s requirement that illegal aliens provide documentation before receiving non-life-saving medical treatments at hospitals would have imposed unfair and economically-damaging restrictions on those institutions.

You have got to be freaking kidding me!!!!! These hospitals around the Phoenix area have been having to close down their maternity wards or go bankrupt all together! Anyone with even one brain cell left can see the destructiveness of letting illegals have free reign on the ERs and maternity wards!!!! These people need to be committed and never let loose to wreak havoc on the public again!!!!

Once again politicans not doing the things they promised when they wanted votes. I'm tired of this and it seems to be more of the norm for these guys republican/demacrat its all bs. They should change the names to, the sell outs/the other sell outs and instead of a donkey and an elephant they should just use a cut out of the middle finger each side can have a different hand
