Phoenix Business Journal - by Chris Casacchia

Arizona Sens. Jon Kyl and John McCain told a business crowd in Scottsdale Monday union card and cap-and-trade legislation will not pass the Senate, and questioned the vitality of immigration reform without a directive from President Barack Obama.

The check-card legislation would make it easier for unions to organize, while cap-and-trade seeks to minimize carbon emissions among U.S. businesses.

Kyl, the Senate’s second ranking Republican, said much of the bipartisan agreement reached two years ago when Congress broached landmark immigration reform, has crumbled in the wake of the new administration and deep party line sentiment.

Kyle is better than Mccain on the immigration issue, maybe not much better, but he is better.

Before taking the stage, Bill Miller, the U.S. Chamber’s senior vice president and political director, announced his organization is endorsing Sen. McCain for reelection.
Why did they bother announcing that? It was a given. Sen. CFR Amnesty will deliver unto them the cheap foreign labor they lust for.
