Last Update: 7:24 am
NEAR DENVER - More than a dozen suspected Zeta members are behind bars in Colorado. The arrest is part of a indictment involving 93 counts and a total of 23 people in Jefferson County.
Out of those 23, 18 people have been arrested. The 18 are accused of smuggling more than 45,000 pounds of marijuana to the Denver area each year.
A year-long investigation uncovered twice-weekly tour bus trips were used to transport drugs from Mexico to an area warehouse.
Scotty Storey, the Jefferson County, Colorado District Attorney, says he feels the recent arrests will have a major impact on drug smuggling in the region.
The five remaining suspects are believed to be in Mexico.

Are these cartel members US citizens? If so we need to take their citizenship away and send them packing after their prison terms.
