Thread: Interesting note from my neighborhood.

I have called the city and again complained about the illegal garbage dump that has moved in. Our fine city (Taylorsville City) Utah has decided that they have had enough of trying to enforce anything with these illegals and have not got the police involved.
I was contacted yesterday from an officer telling me that they have been driving by day and night and have not found one thing wrong. Well, I knew that was a lie and told the officer that I had pictures date stamped. This goes on every day I informed the officer and was wondering what time they were driving by my neighborhood when there was nothing wrong so I could be sure to be home to enjoy my neighborhood.
Just as I was talking to the office here come the illegals doing there illegal parking with 10 cars to a household. I told the officer that I had some illegal parkers coming now and so she sent out an officer.
An officer came and went and talked to the people which they informed me they had already spoken to them. What a crock.
One hour later after they left they moved their cars back to their illegal parking places. I again called that officer and told her to send someone out.
This time they sent two officers. The illegals when they saw them and I am talking four housed around me started jumping in there cars and leaving. I thanked the officers for giving me some peace and quiet by just stopping by causing the illegals to scatter like flies. They said evertime they come to my neighborhood they all scatter on them.
Don't believe any officers trying to tell you that they have done there jobs were illegals are concerned. It does not happen. But in my neighborhood it does now because the proof is on my camera.
Next stop. The Health Department.

You better be careful w/this sort of thing Paige. You don't want them finding out you've been doing the calling or even suspecting it -- especially if they're illegals. Illegals could take their vengeance and just disappear.

I'd contact ice. You shouldn't have to tolerate it but we know how violent some individuals can get.

Paige, have you checked into programs available such as Neighborhood Watch or Crime Free/Drug Free Housing? I have never heard of an area which does not have some sort of community based program to help tackle issues which plague neighborhoods and I would highly recommend that you look into it as these are extremely effective. They are also your best defense against what is going on in your neighborhood.

Simply put, people will find that they get better results and cooperation from the police and other authorties if they become proactive in what is going on in their neighborhood as opposed to taking the standard route of just calling with complaints.

We don't have a crime watch here. Do you think it best if I get one together? I know at one time we did but we have had some many people move in that nobody knows anymore.

Paige, I agree that you should be careful. With all of the crimes I read about committed by illegals ... be prepared for anything. These clowns know they can commit crimes and travel to another town or back to Mexico.
