AZ: Indictment in forgery
March 10, 2007
Indictment in forgery
Gary Grado, Tribune
A 37-year-old Tempe man was indicted on 11 charges related to making false documents for illegal immigrants, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office announced Friday.
Gabriel Hernandez could go to prison for nearly 50 years if convicted on all charges, according to office spokeswoman Andrea Esquer.
An investigation revealed that he was part of a group called DJ Manicero, which sold resident alien cards, Social Security cards and other documents to undercover agents, Esquer said.
