Medical examiner: Border deaths ahead of last year's pace

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A border medical examiner says deaths among illegal immigrants trying to cross the Arizona desert are ahead of the record pace set two years ago.

The office of the Pima County medical examiner has tallied 181 bodies or sets of remains recovered in southern Arizona since January.

That's ahead of the 166 found in the same general area during the same period in 2005.

The Mexican government is responsible for the deaths. They are encouraging the illegals to cross the border. If they would stop the illegals on their side of the border illegals would not be death and we would have fewer illegals.
