LOS ANGELES (FinalCall.com) - Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was flanked by police Chief William Bratton and representatives from various local, state and federal agencies, when he unveiled a new gang and gun enforcement initiative aimed at stemming violence in the city.
“In order to permanently reduce gang violence, illegal firearms must be public enemy number one,â€"Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

I do not live in LA or any where close, but from what I have heard it is probably too late to stop these gangs with out an all out war like mexico is going through.
We can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

If the ethnocentric Villariagosa truly wanted to empower the police to go after gangs, he would rescind the dangerous Special Order 40. Until then, he has very little credibility on this issue.
His method governing -- lurching from crisis to crisis, staging numerous photo ops, while eyeing his next political office -- is pathetic.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
