A man wanted for two counts of sexual assault of a child in El Paso County was found hiding in a Fabens irrigation ditch with a group of undocumented immigrants early Friday, Border Patrol officials said.

Guillermo Ambroso Alan’s Adame, 44, of Torreon, Mexico, was identified when Border Patrol agents checked his fingerprints against a database of fugitives. He was turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff's Department for prosecution. To date, the nationwide database has helped homeland security agencies and others identify 48,000 immigrants with criminal records nationwide. About 10 percent of those fugitives were caught in the El Paso sector, officials said.

This is only one of the reasons we want to keep them out!
