Illegal immigration now becoming a top Tea Party issue

Illegal immigration now becoming a top Tea Party issue as result of latest Arizona development
August 2, 4:07 PMGreensboro Tea Party ExaminerMatt Maggio Illegal immigration - which first became a visible Tea Party issue at the Tea Party in Burlington in June - today inevitably became one of the top Tea Party issues as a result of the latest development in the Arizona controversy about illegal aliens. A Phoenix television station reported today that a Mexican dope cartel has now announced a million-dollar bounty on Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio - undoubtably the local chief law enforcement officer who has taken the toughest approach to illegal aliens.

For very probably the first time in American history, a local police chief or sheriff now has a price on his head - with foreign felons outside America openly soliciting his assassination. For very probably the first time since the American Revolution ended, an elected official in America now has a price on his head - with foreign felons openly soliciting his assassination. That's a kind of "warfare" if anything is.

It's very hard to disconnect this attempt to assassinate Sheriff Arpaio by Mexico-based Mexican dope traffickers from Pres. Obama's at-any-cost commitment to preserving immigration anarchy and joke borders in that state and throughout America - symbolized, of course, by Pres. Obama's litigation to prevent Arizona and its officials from doing anything to protect Arizona and its citizens.

Illegal aliens first became a major Tea Party issue in this area in June at the Tea Party in nearby Burlington - but then for reasons of the job market, drain on the tax base, and "ordinary" crime committed by illegals in this area. Burlington-area Sheriff Terry Johnson - also a national leader in the fight against illegal aliens - was a featured speaker at that event.

With today's wire-service stories that Pres. Obama is planning "temporary green cards" if Congress won't oblige Pres. Obama by giving illegals outright amnesty - and now Mexico-based dope traffickers openly soliciting the murder of an American sheriff for daring to oppose illegal aliens - the only question is what would be too much for Americans to tolerate in this area. Would it be if Pres. Obama amnestied all illegals with "temporary green cards" over congressional refusal to do so? Would it be if Mexico-based Mexicans offerred a million-dollar bounty for the death of Arizona's governor for her support of Arizona's new state law to crack down on illegals?

Only time will tell what's "too much" for Americans on this issue - but one thing's sure: illegal aliens now are headed for top priority as a Tea Party issue across the Lower 48.

Since illegal immigration is directly related to why our economy is sucking wind , I would think sooner or later the tea parties would "get it"

I'm still trying to figure out why all the msm and Fox news refuses to equate illegal immigration and the amount of jobless in this country

Especially when you look at the jobs illegals are doing that Americans use to do

Sure would like to know how many public servants that are directly or indirectly on the cartels pay roll.
If wikileaks could only get their hands on that list
Ya think Sheriff Joe might know something about a few people.
I have a strange feeling, Arpaio just seems so Untouchable.
I pray he stays that way.
