Sheriff Dever gains county backing

BISBEE � With a unanimous decision, the Cochise County Board of Supervisors threw their weight behind Sheriff Larry Dever as he moves forward to address the problem of illegal immigration and smugglers by intervening in the legal battle over Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070.

In a special meeting Wednesday, Supervisors Pat Call, Ann English and Richard Searle had to determine whether to authorize Dever to move forward with a legal position known as an intervention with Rose Law Group providing legal counsel for the proceedings. The motion included a waiver of participation by the county attorney’s office.

Dever said, “As you are aware, the U.S. Department of Justice sued the state of Arizona and the case is in litigation. The Rose Law Group, which is defending me in the American Civil Liberties Union suit, also filed an intervention in the Department of Justice suit and is interested in keeping the discussion alive for us through these proceedings, at no cost to the county.â€

What America needs is every Sheriff in the United States intervening in this lawsuit waged against Arizona by the US Justice Department. Sheriffs are elected to protect and defend the citizens of their jurisdiction. They are in fact the only elected law enforcement officers in the United States answerable directly to the people who pay them and fund their agency. EVERY SHERIFF and EVERY COUNTY should be supported by the citizens of that county to fight the travesty of illegal immigration, starting with fighting the outrageous treason wages on our country by the White House, US Departments of Treasury, State, Labor and Justice.

Take a stand, bring 'em down, shut 'em up, and take our country back. These hacks in DC have no idea the amount of venom the American People have for the treason their words, actions, inaction, plots, schemes, orders and policies represent.

Lets go Sheriffs, lets go citizens, lets go states. Lets shut down illegal immigration now and hold every single person and entity responsible for it liable for every life it has taken, every job it has stolen, every dream it has robbed, and every single cent it has cost the citizens of the United States.
