Of everyone quoted, I only believe the Center for Immigration Studies that states of the 900,000 new jobs created in 2004 over 2003, they were filled with both legal and ILLEGAL workers. It would be NICE to know how many were filled by ILLEGAL workers....but I guess I already do, virtually all of them....; and the representative from the US Industry and Business Council who thinks it will result in greater outsourcing and loss of jobs which is the purpose of it!!
That is the SOLE purpose of CAFTA....to take jobs and investments out of the United States. It is a "redistribution of wealth" plan to redistribute ours to Central America and the many other nations that are mysteriously part of this proposed agreement.
IT WILL NOT create 12,000 net new jobs in the United States as stated by the U S Chamber of Commerce. That is simply untrue and therefore can not be verified and should not have been "printed".
I believe I read where the CAFTA document is 2,400 pages long. Every word is designed for special interests in lieu of the best interests of the United States.
