BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Boulder City Manager Jane Brautigam has canceled restrictions on city employees' travel to Arizona because a federal judge has blocked several portions of that state's immigration law.

In May, Brautigam ordered a halt to employees' nonessential travel to Arizona after approval of a law cracking down on illegal immigration. One of the city's concerns was a provision requiring officers to check a person's immigration status while enforcing other laws if they have "reasonable suspicion" that the person is in the country illegally.

That was among the provisions a federal judge delayed in July. Brautigam says that eases her fears about city employees being harassed if they go to Arizona.

City officials say only one employee was affected by the travel ban.
