Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has insisted the Senate will deal with immigration and health reform separately. And Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D., Mont.) told the Dallas Morning News in May, “We’re not going to cover undocumented aliens, undocumented workers. That’s too politically explosive.â€

Good catch! I was about to post the same story but figured another astute ALIPACer might have beaten me to it. This should be on the home page, and everywhere else socialized medicine is being discussed...

illegals need to be deported and denied any kind of free healthcare unless an extreme life/death emergency. Immigrants should be required to purchase health insurance that is effective as soon as they set foot in this country and should be required to maintain it at all times....and not be allowed to access any public low-income sponsored health care, Medicaid, Medicare, charity care unless has become a naturalized citizen.
