    Illegal alien jailed for R’boro kidnapping of mother, child

    ROSEBORO — Roseboro Police, the State Bureau of Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigations came together Thursday to solve a kidnapping that ended in a car chase and put an illegal alien behind bars under a million dollar bond and awaiting deportation.

    According to Roseboro Police chief Preston Howell Jr., three men burst into Mexico-Lindo, located at 404 W. N.C. 24, a family-run business in Roseboro, Thursday afternoon at 12:45.

    “The men produced guns and told the lady in the store that she was going with them,â€
