Wednesday is scheduled for a 3rd day of boycotts, a protest march and demonstration against ICE raids at Federal building.

Mexican Flag Flown Illegally Over Local Business

This afternoon we received a call from a viewer who said a business near downtown Reno was flying a Mexican flag above an American flag... which is in fact illegal.

This, after photos and comments about the flag were posted on Craigslist this morning. When we were able to have a photographer go and check everything out we found the story to be true.

It also didn t take long before the situation provoked a strong reaction. We are now going to show you , unedited, what happened. Click on the video to see what happened.

I don't believe the business owner, when he said he didn't know better.
Bull! He knew better.

I know that veteran felt taunted and reacted to the disrespect for America.

The owner of the establishment says he is a citizen and that he did not know you were not to fly another flag over the American flag.

Heck I was taunted...I don't buy that he didn't know....No how No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for that veteran! He saw that Mexican flag flying over the U.S. flag and felt disrespected and disgusted.
I don't believe the owner either. I think he purposely was showing the country he favors even if he is a citizen. Probably has dual citizenship.
I've seen the Mexican flag waving in our country far too much in the past 2 years.

I don't have any respect for people that play dumb.

I have so much empathy for that veteran who simply could not stand by and watch his country disparaged that way. Good for him for taking the American flag away and for cutting the Mexican flag down.

And I also agree that the guy who put up the flags knew exactly what he was doing.

HURRAY HURRAY FOR THE VETERAN WHO WOULD NOT ALLOW THE AMERICAN FLAG TO BE DISRESPECTED. WE NEED 200 MILLION MORE

WISH WE COULD FIND OUT THE VETERANS EMAIL. EVERY ONE SHOULD LET HIM KNOW HOW MUCH WE RESPECT HIM.

THE STORE OWNER SAYING HE WAS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND THEN
DISPLAYING THE MEXICAN FLAG KINDA SHOWS WHERE HE COMES FROM.

How can you fly the Buzzard Rag and "Pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America..."?
