Regarding the controversy surrounding the policy change allowing illegal immigrants admission into North Carolina community colleges, I am proud to say that all three of the Republican candidates for governor have come out in opposition to the policy change. It is a paradox that in the land of liberty so many remain wedded to the repressive language of political correctness and pander over the opportunities found in truth and candor. Recent e-mail exchanges around hidden realities in Cherokee, the League of Women Voters’ disguised advocacy of illegal immigrants, the self advocacy of those who employ those illegal immigrants, and the closet socialism practiced by Asheville City Council have repeatedly demonstrated the investment of special interests in preserving their own interests.

It remains that liberals attack conservatives and the self-serving attack sources of light for the same reason that puppies bite their mother to make her lie still. I appreciate the patience of both these groups as some of us remain mobile.

As I mentioned the other day, this is my daughter's first year in high school, and their English teacher explained to me there are not enough English books to go around; so none of the students get them. As I think about this, I wonder if that is intentional. It seems odd that English books are missing from the schools.... unless Weasley wishes not to offend his house servants and yard workers by cramming English books down their throats.

I think we should all call for a boycot of the NC Educational Powerball Lottery. Apparently NC is making too much money off of it and have a surplus to spend for the illegals, and never enough money for the N.C. citizens.

As One Tar Heel Native To Another, I Agree With You About The Education Lottery Boycott. These People Are Being Given So Much And They Only Hurt Legal Citizens. They Hurt Us In More Ways Than You Can Imagine. And The Government At All Levels Are Intent On Kissing Up To Them. Well I'm Not Because I Don't Have To. I Will Do All That I Can To See To It That They Are Limited In A lot Of Things. After All They Are Not Legal Citizens Of This Nation Or State.It Is A Sad Situation That This Country Is In. And The Democrats Are Really Making Matters Worse. I Am So Glad That I am No Longer A Member Of That Political Party And Its Band Of Idiots. THE NAME OF THEIR GAME IS "LETS SEE WHO CAN PANDER TO THE ILLEGALS THE BEST" ITS PLAIN AND SIMPLE THIS IS ALL BEING DONE FOR VOTES. AND I HOPE THEY LOOSE BIG AND I MEAN REALLY BIG.

Not only do the NC democrats pander to ilegal aliens, the Charlotte Democrats have stooped to a new low. A Democrat (Nick Massey), who resigned from the police force rather than get fired (falsification of time sheets, sending pornographic material from city owned computer), recently declaring bankruptcy protection from $370,000 owed to creditors ran on a platform of "It's time a black was elected in Mecklenberg Co. as Sheriff." His opponent, Chipp Bailey, was exceedingly more qualifed with three times the experience in law enforcement, a clean record and the sitting Deputy Sheriff, and endorsed by outging (to Washington DC to work in DHS to head their 287(g) outreach program) sheriff Jim Pendergraph. But, because he was white, he was shunned by the Democrats and Nick Massey was elected. This is the beginning of the decline of the 287(g) program here and a terible time of Democratic racial politics.

No matter which way you look at it, a County Sheriff of very questionable character, no experience in running any kind of department, and with a lot less law enforcement experience was elected simply becuase he was black. Shame on Charlotte Democrats and shame on this kind of racial politics!
