Dobbs Tonight 1/22/09 Freedom Under Fire: Malfunction or Mal

    Lou Dobbs Tonight

    Thursday, January 22, 2009

    Television

    * The appeal for Wisconsin gun owner David Olofson begins today. Olofson’s rifle malfunctioned and fired two multi-round bursts. He has been charged under federal gun laws with the illegal transfer of a machine gun. We will have a full report tonight.

    * Plus, less than a year ago, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates testified before Congress that the United States needed to offer unlimited H-1B visas in order to attract an adequate number of high-tech workers. Today they announced up to 5,000 jobs will be cut over the next 18 months

    Radio

Joining Lou on Wednesday will be attorneys DAVID BOTSFORD and ROBERT BASKETT, who represent soon-to-be free Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The attorneys will discuss how their clients’ unjust prison sentences were commuted by outgoing President George W. Bush—and how the two men feel about coming home.

JOHN MCINTYRE of Chicago-based RealClearPolitics.com will recap yesterday’s historic inauguration of President Obama, and he’ll also look ahead to Obama’s first 100 days in office.

And for a look into President Obama’s future, Lou will talk with—who else?—a real, live psychic. The noted ELIZABETH BARON will offer her thoughts on what lies ahead.

As always, Lou will take your calls to discuss the issues that matter most to you—and to get your thoughts on the direction America is heading. Call him toll-free on the Independent Hotline at 877-55 DOBBS

Bill Gates has billions, and he is throwing it down the toilet in Africa, which has no infrastructure, and yet he wails about giving jobs away to foreigners.

I wish linux could support all the cool stuff MS does. What a scumbucket.
