* A $300 Billion federal program to prevent foreclosures
has brought almost no relief to homeowners. It has been more
than five months since the Help for Homeowners program was
created by Congress to help over 400,000 troubled homeowners
get new loans. But it is estimated that only a fraction of
those people have received help from this program. We will look
at how little is being done to help struggling homeowners
tonight.

* Plus, members of Congress are asking U.S. Attorney
Johnny Sutton to officially recommend commutation of sentence
for imprisoned former Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and
Jose Compean. Congressmen hope a recommendation from Sutton
might help convince President Bush to commute the sentences
prior to leaving office next week. We will have the latest
developments tonight.
