Thread: Stop the Illegal Children!!!!

As Our laws now stand anyone giving birth in the USA, that child by right of birth becomes a Legal US citizen. Now if we would just ammend this law to read that the child will have the Legal status of the Mother at the time of birth then many would not be dropping in to down load another 18 year welfare case on Our system. Legal parents that are at hospitals have to prove / Identify themselves and sign responsibility of the Debt. We could also just go one step further and cut Our losses by Posting a Grandfather act to this law and date it back to the last Amnesty period. From that date forward if the Mother was not legal at the time of the childs birth then the child is Illegal. Even if the mother was in the process of becoming Legal. That still does not give the child automatic Legal status.

I would like it if we shred every anchor babies citizenship status, which based on the original intent of the law (to make sure freed slaves were full citizens) isn't in anyway valid for the child of an illegal alien.
