Federal Judge Declares Pledge of Allegiance in School Unconstitutional

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Pledge of Allegiance was ruled unconstitutional Wednesday by a federal judge who granted legal standing to two families represented by an atheist whose previous attempt to get the pledge out of public schools was rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court.

This is breaking news. So far this is all we have.

Well, guess what. I'll do the same with any DRAFT NOTICE that you send to our house.

And this is the problem. There are so many people in this country whose allegiance is not with the United States that a judge can get away with this. If that were not the case a judge would thrown this case out in a heartbeat. Then go find THEM to fight the damn wars for this country. Go and find the little whimps who are afraid of two words, "Under God" and let them fight the bloody wars. The USA will lose in the first hour because if they're afraid of God, then they're going to run like scared rabbits from any enemy.

You know what? I think I'll blame George Bush for this too, because he's the one who turned the hose on which is being used to water this country down and turn it into a big mud puddle.

Hillary, Bill, John, Ted, you all must be tickled pink. This is the America you've always wanted. But I still want to blame GWB too.

If we ever get a draft notice the way things are going, I'll write: "Return to Sender, wrong household, we are illegal, there must be some mistake, you must be looking for a Legal American. Not here " And I'll write it in Spanish.

I'm serious Dman, this is pathetic. Every parent in their right mind should boycott the public schools. I bet there are prinipals all over America who support this action of making the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional.

I say, if it is unconstitutional to say the Pledge of Allegiance in schools than it is obvious that your institution is not aligned with the United States of America. Therefore you are a danger to my child. I will not put my children under your jurisdiction for 6 hours a day. It is too dangerous to do so.

By the way, one of our sons is in the Jr. ROTC, so it's not like we're an anti-military family. It was his choice to join, we didn't say a word to him to encourage or discourage it.

This ruling today is perfect insanity. The father and the judge should be sent to Gitmo.

Truly this is a judge who doesn’t love his country. Legal, if the FTAA passes this pledge won’t even apply because this will no longer be the United States of America. The Passage of CAFTA opens the doors to the FTAA. Remember the CFR Plan; this is to be implemented by Dec 31 2005. Happy New Year 2006, Goodbye America.

When you are sworn in as a US citizen you are made to swear the Oath. Directly following that, right on the sheet that allows the illiterates to mutter in pidgeon English is, GUESS WHAT??

I have never lived full time in Germany. I am on the verge of making a decision. How can my Oath mean anything in the face of illegals and now a court that claims what I swore to to become American is Unconstitutional.

P.S. The history portion of your citizenship test is comprised of the officer asking history questions about America and its laws until you get 6 right. They just keep asking until you get 6 right.

True enough; However it is nice to know it is there. That country has already been through the crucible and its people survived, as I'm sure we will. It isn't going to be easy, and never was going to be.
