They don't know what to make of his claims, but authorities are taking the danger he poses very seriously.

Gregory Steven Clark, who is wanted in connection with the violent holdup of a Wachovia bank in September, has "indicated an interest" in robbing banks to fund the activities of an anarchist group he's created, the FBI has learned.

The stated goal of the group, Neo Millennium Liberation Army, is to "free the oppressed minority population of Atlanta."

Authorities have not been able to determine whether such a group exists.

But in any case, Clark's alleged actions at the bank and an FBI investigation into his interests have made it clear he is a danger to the public and to law enforcement, the agency said Thursday.
