SD Immigrant Prostitution

SAN DIEGO - Two Mexican men who illegally brought their wives into the United States and forced them to work as prostitutes out of a Vista apartment the couples shared were sentenced Monday to federal prison terms.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Whelan sentenced Guillermo Romero-Flores to 27 months in custody and Guadalupe Ventura to a 41-month term.

Romero-Flores, 45, had been directing his wife's prostitution activity since about 1993, and Ventura, 29, had been using his spouse for the same purpose since about 1997, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Tenorio.

The prosecutor could not be reached to explain the disparity in the sentencing terms.

The judge found that the women were themselves victims who were afraid of their husbands.

"The defendants didn't just smuggle aliens, they victimized them," said U.S. Attorney Carol Lam. "Our local Human Trafficking Task Force will continue to identify and prosecute people who exploit others in this way."

On May 13, 2005, a jury convicted both defendants of two counts each of harboring aliens and harboring aliens for purposes of prostitution.

The jury also convicted Ventura of one count each of bringing in an alien for financial gain and transporting an alien for purposes of prostitution.

Is this what Bush meant by "family values"? I guess he was right on one thing though, these are "jobs Americans refuse to do". What's next? Pimping out their children for pedophiles, maybe they can get NAMBLA to help lobby for a guest victim program.

I guess Mexico's campaign with BLOW-UP dolls to stop harrassment and sexual abuse didnt work.

The culture in most Latin American countries is centered around treating women like animals. The only Central American country where rape is illegal is Belize (which was colonized by the Brits).

So, this is what all of the liberal feminists can expect by demanding "diversity"; the willing suicide of their own movement and basically shooting themselves in the foot.

What's happening in Scandinavia with the Muslim immigration-fueled rape crisis is going on right here with the massive illegal hispanic immigration. Women's rights will be history in this country if it doesn't stop.

The link to femicide provided by Brian reminds me of another thread with similar information on some border killings of women from of all places the website of The National Organization of Women. Why isn't NOW trying to protect American women from illegal aliens by supporting their deportation and border security? I will be contacting their head Miss soon to ask why and send a link to the article and photos of the blow up dolls. I am not of fan of NOW as anyone who reads my comments in the link will note.
