It is sad what the girl had to go through, but the mother should have been deported immediately after being found out as an illegal.

Actually both were illegal and both should have been deported immediately. Why does the government and the Mexican community take care of these people when they know it is WRONG! Take care of the criminals and more will come. I would hope they have deported the mother by now.
