EL PASO, December 30 - I read with interest an editorial in the Arizona Daily Star on Dec. 12, titled “Activists asking for too much on immigration.â€

One day soon, our nation will view America's recent history on immigration with shame.

We are currently viewing our government and people like YOU with SHAME!!

Nearly every immigration expert, including Arizona's governor, has stated that a wall is not the answer — that more, better trained border enforcement,

You want more border guards to go to jail?
The government has turned their backs on those hero's.
At least the fence slows them down.

For our country to prosper, we must lead the way in the safe, fast and secure movement of people and products in a post-9/11 world.

In that case, we are screwed because we have incompetent lifelong politicians in office where they sleep and collect pay and subtle bribes.

Right now, our neighbors call the walls "muros de odio," or "walls of hatred" on our southern border.

Yes, so what? What do they call Americans? They are taught lies all their lives about America but they are so uneducated that it's sickening. So they come here where we are suppose to take care of them? WHY!!! Mexico has many rich people to help out. They are parasites to all us.

How much better for all of us to guarantee real border security, work on comprehensive immigration, invest in infrastructure and build bridges to a better relationship, not walls of further division.

Dear Senator Shapleigh,

It saddens my heart that so many elected officials including you do not know the difference or the purpose of the "Great Wall of China" and the wall on our Southern border.

What saddens me even more is our elected officials don't have the guts to up hold their oaths of office to protect the citizens of the United States and the sovereignty of our country.

We should never be embarrassed to enforce the laws of this nation especially when we are right next door to a country so deeply corrupt and being run by some of the most dangerous criminals on the planet...people who think nothing of chopping off heads, arms and legs, kid napping and murdering our family members.

Oh we have learned a lot of their culture, they believe in having sex with a 12 year old, they kill 12 Americans a day on our highways from drinking and driving, more American citizens have been raped and murdered by illegal aliens than we have lost in Iraq. They have little respect for woman, try being a woman walking down the street and cross the path of these day labors and see the cat calls and filthy mouths we listen too. Or are we suppose to be happy to live 15 to 20 people in one house, with 10 cars parked on the lawn and watch the value of your house plummet, is this what culture you think is good for America and we the people?

There have been as many as 75 illegal aliens caught in back of those big rigs coming into the states in the name of free trade, but most of all we are not just talking of Mexico here, ICE has arrested people from dozens of countries at one time, central America, So. America and all points across the ocean.

Do you see any limit here before you decide we should enforce the laws of this land? what would it be? 1 billion? 2 billion people? at what point will you have the guts to say enough is enough? Will it be after it is too late and there is nothing recognizable of the Unites States of America left, or will it be when the majority of Americans are living in a 3rd world status.

Just what is in this for Americans? closed Hospitals, over crowded and broke school? are you saying we should feel guilty about wanting a good education for our children in schools paid for with taxpayer money ? Oh and shame on us for wanting to be able to understand what people are saying in our own country, God forbid English be the official language spoken in this country for over 300 years.

But the most egregious atrocity committed to date by our elected officials on the citizens of the United States of America is that in this economic crises you all would throw the American worker under the Bus with out the blink of an eye. Millions of Americans out of work, losing their medical insurance, losing their homes, going bankrupt, some even living in tents and cars, watching their wages being driven down from the competition of legal and illegal labor and you people have the nerve to put everyone ahead of the people you are suppose to represent. It is no wonder our country is in such a sorry state of affairs....how about a little sympathy and doing what is right for America and Americans for a change and if your idea of doing right is still what you advocate in your article most of us AMERICANS want no part of it..

Remember Americans give and we give big in aid to almost every nation on this planet including Mexico....BUT we are not willing to give up our country or our sovereignty.

Senator Eliot Shapleigh is a Democratic Illegal Hugger from El Paso.

No doubt in my mind what he's working for Mexico. You know El Paso is occupied territory. Call him up and ask him what's he going to do about the poverty level in his district and the 51% illegal alien population in El Paso.
