    Governor seeks $3 billion

    BULLHEAD CITY - The state's economic situation was the topic of Gov. Janet Napolitano's address delivered during a luncheon in her honor Friday afternoon.

    The governor appeared at the Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority-sponsored event at the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce auditorium.

    During her 14-minute address, Napolitano said it is “a difficult economic timeâ€

    It seems that different states that had a lot of money and now in the red.
    Could it be because of the cost of illegal immigration?

    Isn't it funny how "rich" states like California who have high rates of IA are somehow in the "red"? Don't they see the correlation? And now Us citizens are paying for it over and over because teachers are bing cut right now in California and school programs will lose funding. I wonder if ESL classes and bilingual teachers who command a higher pay are also on the chopping blcok? Hmm, probably not.
