Perdue, McCrory won't own up to facts on a sticky issue

Washington's pitiful failure to reform immigration has left the Tar Heel state facing sticky questions. One of them: whether to allow undocumented residents to enroll in community colleges and universities so long as they pay higher, non-resident tuition.

The biggest question is not whether adults who broke the law to come here ought to go to public colleges. It's whether graduates of N.C. high schools who were brought here as young children by their parents should get access to higher education.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama delved into that N.C. issue in an interview with WUNC radio this week. Obama said he favored allowing illegal immigrants to enroll in community colleges.

His clear, cogent explanation made us wish the two candidates seeking to be the state's next governor, Democrat Bev Perdue and Republican Pat McCrory, had the political will to show the same kind of leadership.

“For all practical purposes, they are an American kid and for us to deny them access to community colleges, even though they have never lived in Mexico … or Poland … is to deny that this is how we've always built this country up,â€

The Commie Charlote Observer is a huge IA hugger newspaper along with the Commie Raleigh News & Observer in North Carolina. They incessantly beat the drum for amnesty, Obama and any far leftist thought they encounter.

They are both part of the McClatchy Co. cabal:

They have established their "California Values" throughout the country, a value system supported by most California state bureaucrats and politicians that has driven the state into a $16 billion deficit, $11 billion of which is tied to the cost of illegal immigration and the massive presence of illegal aliens there. McClatchy Co. owns 30 daily newspapers in 15 states, with the highest concentration of ownership in the far west (5 in California and 4 in Washington state) and the southeast (with 5 in SC, 2 in NC, 2 in GA and 3 in FL). To round out their reach, they also own 50 non-daily newspapers nationally. It seems that to be hired on as a columnist or editor at a McClatchy Co. newspaper, a condition of employment is to be a ‘progressive’ liberal socialist, globalist, supporter of open borders and amnesty to illegal aliens!

McCrory is the best choice, isn't he?

I can't believe those idiots were dumb enough to suggest Perdue and McCrory should "follow" Obama! LOL that is rich!
