A Swedish businessman who crashed a $1.5 million Ferrari in Malibu in 2006 will be soon released from a detention center near Los Angeles and deported to Sweden, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said. The businessman, Bo Stefan Eriksson, left, pleaded no contest to a drunken-driving charge in connection with the crash on the Pacific Coast Highway, and also pleaded no contest to embezzlement and gun possession charges. He was sentenced to three years. The authorities say Mr. Eriksson and Trevor Michael Karney were traveling 162 miles per hour in a rare Ferrari Enzo, one of only 400 made, when it crashed into a pole.
