Court refuses to halt plan to allow long-distance Mexican trucks

WASHINGTON – A federal appellate court on Friday refused to temporarily block an administration plan to allow Mexican trucks to roam freely throughout the United States beginning next week.


The decision by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals means nothing stands in the way of plans to begin a controversial pilot program – possibly as early as Thursday – to test the safety of Mexican trucks on U.S. highways.

The Teamsters union and several other groups opposed to the border opening filed suit Wednesday to block the program, which the groups claim does not fully comply with congressional requirements.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco disagreed. In a brief order released shortly before the court closed for the Labor Day weekend, a three-judge panel said the request for an emergency motion was denied.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration said earlier this week it expects to open the border to long haul Mexican truck traffic as soon as Thursday.

This could be good news in disguise. America may soon see Mexican trucks on their highways and TV's. Not to mention, possible riots by truckers. I suspect there will be a lot of anger. Maybe now more people will see what is really happening.

GOD this pisses me off! I can only hope that these ass_ _ _ _ _ elites kids either get hooked on the drugs that will be coming over (worse than they are now) or get killed by these drivers (no, the kids should not have to suffer). I cannot fathom the total evil that the elites do. I have to pray for any children that they have. They are selling out their own kids. God help them! All I can say is there is no amount of money that will protect any of us from this including the elites. They are putting not just us poor working class citizens in harms way, they are doing this to their own kids. How sick is that?

I suggest everyone call their senators Tuesday morning (9/4) and demand that they do what they can to stop this. I believe the Mexican trucks are supposed to start entering on 9/6 so we have a couple of days to yell.

I wonder if we can get American truckers to post signs on their trucks about illegal immigration. Or, pictures of those who have died or lost jobs due to the invasion.

controlledimmigration: good point. sometimes a situation has to get real bad before it gets better. maybe mexican trucks coming across the entire country will bring this whole thing to a head. another industry being lost to outsourcing. americans wont stand for it.

This is a sad day for America but what can you expect from the 9th circuit court.
We had better launch a campaign on tuesday for when congress gets back, maybe they have time to stop it!!
