New York Democratic Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez compared the migrant caravan storming the U.S. southern border over the weekend to Jews fleeing Nazi Germany during the Holocaust in World War II.
On Sunday, roughly 500 migrants were caught on camera rushing the border at the port of entry that connects Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents closed the port of entry and used tear gas in an attempt to send the migrants back toward Mexico. Several migrants were also seen throwing rocks at the Border Patrol agents before running away.
In response, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted her condemnation of the U.S. securing the border and forbidding the migrants from entering the country.

The 29-year-old socialist was comparing the migrants to innocent Jews who attempted to flee during World War II to escape being murdered by the Nazis.
She also argued that the migrant caravan fleeing their native countries is comparable to those who have fled from dictatorships and war in the Middle East.

In the clip below, several migrants can be seen throwing rocks over the border fence and toward U.S. Border Patrol agents.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed via Twitter that at least one U.S. agent was struck by a rock thrown by a migrant.
“Today @CBP personnel were struck by projectiles thrown by caravan members. Such actions are dangerous & not consistent w peacefully seeking asylum. The perpetrators will be prosecuted. I will continue to aggressively support DHS personnel as they work to safely secure our border,” she wrote.

Ocasio-Cortez is correct that it is not a crime to apply for asylum. However, it is a crime to illegally enter a country and throw rocks at federal immigration officials.
Many on social media also condemned Ocasio-Cortez for disgustingly comparing Jews fleeing torture and being killed to the migrant caravan.

Sadly, her disgusting comments on Sunday were just one of many that she has uttered in recent weeks.
Last week, Ocasio-Cortez complained that the 16 Democrats who are vowing to oppose House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi from regaining her Speakership are not “diverse” enough.
Before that, Ocasio-Cortez came under fire after she urged people to support Democrats taking back “all three chambers of Congress.”

The three branches of government are the legislative, executive, and judicial. And it was quite obvious to many that the socialist darling had no idea what she was talking about.
Earlier this month, Ocasio-Cortez criticized the “electoral system” because she can’t receive her congressional salary until she’s actually sworn in as a member of Congress.
Given that she will not be sworn in as a member of Congress until January, the Democratic socialist complained about not receiving her congressional salary for another three months.
This is also the same woman who has struggled mightily to explain how to pay for the $218 trillion “Medicare for all” plan she supports, said it was a “no brainer” that President Donald Trump should be impeached, and is in favor of eliminating the Electoral College.
