I am unapologetically enraged at the brutal indifference of this city to an epidemic of murder. We need candidates and money to challenge every member of the City Council. We need new political blood to stop the bloodshed in the streets of L.A. The current crowd abused the privilege.

Last week, the Shaws, Anita and Jamiel Sr., addressed the City Council urging the passage of “Jamiel’s Lawâ€

It's unbelievable that Tony Villar can get away with this....voters in L.A. need to be pounded with this story ....how can any elected officials stand there and defend a dangerous policy to protect criminal illegal aliens and at the same time jeopardize the lives, safety and health and welfare of everyone else in that city?

JUST SAY NO MAS ....TO TONY VILLAR AND EVERY ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL.

BOYCOTT MEXICO

Los Angeles is a government of the People, for the People, and by the People....OF MEXICO!!!

As usual, McIntyre is right on. The radical ethnocentric pols on the LA City Council are putting political correctness above the safety of So Cal residents.

LA is absolutely SHAMEFUL.

This incident is the the glaring story of our governments local, county, state, and feds. All if for the almighty dollar and who's pockets they are in. It has nothing to do with LEADING. It has nothing to do with representing the law-abiding American citizen. It has only to do with who can BUY those representatives and they represent ONLY those who BUY them.

It is time for the American citizen "the forgotten man lobby" to stand up and say "We're mad as hell and we aren't going to take it any more." IF O'Reilly sponsors a march or any other well-known host, I'll fly in and be there. It has to be big enough to make an in-your-face statement that national news will pick up.

It's time for federal funds to be withdrawn from this city.

Another brilliant article by Doug. And Gogo, Doug is the one who was on O'Reilly with Anita Shaw. He and Kevin James are not going to let Jamiels Law fade into the sunset.

And just to clarify the population numbers in one of the last posts, the election was for LA City, which has 3.8 million people (according to city-data and wiki), LA County has 9.9 million, and Greater LA area is 17.7 million. There are 88 incorporated cities in LA County. Of note, there are also 224 languages. So if the ballots are only in Spanish and English, the people who speak the other 222 were SOL.
