Man Claims ‘20-30 Deportations’ During Arrest

Man Claims ‘20-30 Deportations’ During Arrest

A police investigation in Cleves, Ohio led to a startling admission by an alleged illegal immigrant–that he has already been deported more than two dozen times.

It’s a story you saw first on WCPO.com.

Jose Manuel Sanchez-Rojaz, 33, was arrested early Tuesday morning by a Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy. Sanchez-Rojaz was wanted for questioning regarding stolen vehicle. Authorities say the vehicle was stolen around 4 a.m. in the 6300 block of State Route 128.

During the questioning, Sanchez-Rojaz allegedly gave the deputy a false name and birthday. He was charged with falsification and obstructing justice.

The deputy says Sanchez-Rojaz also told him he “had been deported multiple times by immigration.â€

OK let's give him 10 years in jail. Turns out it could be cheaper.

This IA is probably telling the truth. This shows how badly Bush, Chertoff et al have failed at border security -- one of their primary duties. Seven years after 9/11 and the border is still widely open.

    Shame on you George Bush.

If anywhere close to true, this guy has virtually guaranteed himself a hefty jail sentence.

    Guaranteed!!

    Draconian Comedy

Here is a little Draconian joke.

When they deport someone they should tattoo a "D" infront of their ear. Rumor's about this would disuade people from trying and make folks easy to apprehend.

But that violates rights!!! Rights are not international. I have no rights in Saudi Arabia. I have few rights in Mexico. You have rights as an American citizen if you are one. If you are not an American, you have no rights as an American.

This Draconian comedy illustrates what bounds this situation drives otherwise sane people to and it serves to broaden our awareness.
