Letters like Kevin Werner’s really make my blood boil. Werner has masterfully demonstrated the ignorance that so many people share concerning the activities of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Werner, like many others, seems to be under the impression that ICE treats all illegal immigrants as though they’ve committed crimes against humanity, alleging that they conduct unprovoked and violent raids on the homes of innocent families, break up families and cause a great deal of the problems minorities face. With minimal subtlety, Werner has suggested that ICE conducts hateful discrimination toward minorities, specifically the Latino community that he mentioned.

This is ridiculous.

First, ICE officers don’t break down doors and rush the aliens in a V-for-Vendetta-like fashion. The only time doors are broken down is when illegal immigrants refuse to open them. The only time raids are conducted is when there’s a warrant for arrest out for the illegal immigrant, meaning that they have committed a pretty serious crime. You may be surprised to know that many illegal immigrants are not captured by ICE but brought before them by police officers for traffic violations, drug and alcohol abuse/sale and even for seeking benefits when they aren’t even naturalized!

I could say a whole lot more about what ICE does and doesn’t do and why, but let me summarize it for everyone who needs a crash course on ICE activities. They do not conduct violent raids, they do not break up families and they do not cause the problems minorities face. All they do is put individuals who have entered or remained in America without respecting our immigration laws (therefore committing a crime) through the legal process. In reality, they just bring lawbreakers to justice.

A recent speech on immigration raids by Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, D-Ca., has members of the right-wing media up in arms. “Who in this country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families?â€

I don't care, just stop the illegal aliens from stealing our IDs, using our tax dollars, filling our jails, our hospital emergency rooms, filling our WIC offices, committing crimes, taking our jobs, spreading drug resistant diseases, sham marriages, pushing drugs, human trafficking, the cost of educating foreign children that can't speak English....

If that means kicking down a damn door they shouldn't even be behind, that's fine with me. One damaged door solves a whole lot of problems.

And for crying out loud! Don't break up the family, send them all back to where they belong! Don't leave behind gramdma, the pregnant women and the anchor babies can go with their parents.

You want to talk injustice! The injustice is that a single American has to endure this for one second and the pay for it with our tax dollars!!!!!!!!

That's injustice.

And for the poor confused "University Student", Kevin Werner, wake up, get your head our your behind, and use your brain. The solution to this outrageous "dilemma" is to throw everyone involved in creating this socio-economic political disaster for our people and country OUT OF OFFICE and hand every appointed official who refuses to enforce our laws and do their job a PINK SLIP with directions to the SOUP LINES they created.

Then local and state governments are going to have to do the job the feds refused to do. Wake Up Sheriffs, Wake Up City Police, Wake Up Mayors, Wake Up Governors, Wake Up State National Guards ... either you'll be the heroes we didn't have in DC or you'll get the boot, too. Now do your duty and get these people out of here.

This kid better wake up to reality. Kids feel bad about their parents getting carted off?

WOW! If this were an AMERICAN CITIZEN they would be dragged out and imprisoned even with their children and wives watching! Then in some cases DSS would be in there hauling off the children saying it was an unsafe environment for the children. So what is unfair Mr Kevin Werner?

And ICE raids are generally conducted at work places. You KNOW the places they are ILLEGALLY WORKING! Places employers ILLEGALLY hire ILLEGAL workers (cheap laborers)

I'd like to know how damn long Mexico listens to a whining American?

In the past I had an infinite amount of patience with people that didn't understand certain political realities. I felt that if I talked to them long enough and showed them hard core evidence, they would eventually turn around. I have found that pro-illegals and their advocates discard everything I say even when I show them the facts and figures of the problem. They don't want to hear it. And their arguments always turn to them calling me a racist and a barrage of meaningless emotional chatter because they have no evidence to support their position.

Recently a close friend of mine told me that I was wrong because she had talked to thousands of intelligent people that trust Obama and think that the illegals should be Amnestied into our country. I had to catch my breathe as I could not believe her stupidity, I supplied her with so much evidence to support my assertions, but she never even bothered to read them or do any research. After I calmed myself down, I eventually replied, either your imagination is running wild and you didn't talk to thousands of people or the people that you thought were intelligent, were not as smart as you think they are, because no intelligent person would tell you that allowing people with less than a 5th grade education and limited skills, illegally coming into our country and having babies for the American people to financially support would ever be a good thing for our country. Illegal close our hospitals, bring us leprosy, chagna, TB and raise our crime rate exponentially. Do you realize that 75,000 Americans have been murdered by illegals since 9/11, I told her. It’s all documented, check out the information I gave you.

After she figured out that she wasn’t going to shut me down, she tried another approach, she said she thought I might be a racist, I laughed when I heard her saying something so stupid. And my reply as as follows; I will not defend my position on various races because that is an old tired trick used by people that don't have a legitimate argument. And too, even if I was racist, it still would not mean that the illegals had any right to be in our country, soaking up our jobs and taking our money via welfare goodies and education for their anchors.

My friend even tried to pull the Well, Bush did this and that, and she tried the race thing again, as she said I don’t like Obama because he is black. Her arguments were flimsy at best. I don't think I want to continue a friendship with her because she and other perhaps well-meaning Americans are such a large part of the problem. She is so convinced that she is right, even though she has not investigated anything, she even went so far as to tell me that Socialism wasn't so bad, as she had lived in Socialist countries. I would have thought she would be wiser having lived under repressive Governments. Now she thinks if she just pretends this is not happening and she goes along with whatever dicates come into place, she and her family will be fine.

My point in sharing this with all of you is that many of us will probably be forced to make a choice as our country becomes more divided. Do we support our Constitution or is our allegiance with the Communist regime and phony president and his political and business elites? In making those choices many of our friendships and family relations will be severed. It may even become dangerous for Alipac and others that defend the Constitution to express our views to the opposition, even if that opposition is someone in our own families. Remember Hitler’s civilian forces? These forces turned in their own parents and friends. Obama is busy putting into effect Youth groups and private forces larger than our military. Anyone guess why Obama is putting these forces together? Anyone think that Obama will use these same soft headed liberals as soliders in his army against the American people? I do.

Digressing, the challenge with the illegals problem is that the ignorance of liberal college students and other brain washed individuals makes them co-conspirators with our Gov't elites and their puppet masters that seek to bring our country down.

The old adage about those who don’t understand history are destined to repeat is may very well apply, I think the liberal and/or brainwashed fools may end up like many of the Jews in Hitler's Nazi Germany, in that, many Jews and bystanders refused to believe what was really going on until they and their families were pushed into the ovens. Unfortunately the fools may force us and others we love to be pushed into Obama's version of Hitler's ovens, as well.

Yea, I got a little upset last night after reading this.

Well, his whole whine was about how underprivileged those poor kids are that he tutors. They are ignorant and need tutoring because their parents drug them here and they can't speak, read or write English! They are not underprivileged, they are educationally disadvantaged from the very beginning and most don't even make it out of high school because of their parents!

I'm sick of these near sighted people that can only look at the effects and not the cause. The cause is their parents unlawful behavior!

It's very obvious to me that money and effort can not catch the majority of those kids up to American academic standards. Send them back home where they can communicate and be educated in their native language! That's better than a lifetime of being disadvantaged and unable to keep up in America and condemned to being a member of the impoverished "slave" class that the Liberals now call the "working poor".

I already have experienced losing a friend over illegals.
I use to forward stuff as I do everyone in my contact list.
One day after sending a story about when we learned that Bank of
America was giving accounts to illegals he emailed me back this:

you sent below. It only affirms what was in the news months ago. Your
hatred for all Spanish speakers (you call them Mexicans) is like the
Nazi attitudes towards the Jews, really unjust in my opinion. There
are shades of gray, not just "black and white" on all matters. All
ills did not come from your Mexicans, there is plenty of crime among
the Caucasians. Carrying your logic to it's extreme all people should
leave the US except the Native Americans. There is no record of
illegal activity until after the first light skinned people arrived
to these shores. Keep going and you'll blow a cork! There are quite
many Hispanics here and outside of the rednecks they are well
regarded and earn their way without being a burden. I'm learning to
live with them, not self-destruct with anger ill founded. As far as
I'm concerned you can stop sending more rhetoric of hatred and
prejudice. I'll still welcome emails that don't perpetuate the

That was over a year ago. I never have talked to him sense, nor do I want to. What hurt was I thought he knew how accepting I am of people of different colors, gays, tranny's, anything that doesn't harm people or animals. PLUS he should have asked for me not to send political emails. I have friends that don't want them, that's ok. BUT a racist I am NOT! The closest I come is with the Catholic Church, not the Catholics, but the ones who hide the truth.
