Deportation of Obama’s aunt put on hold

    April 19, 2009
    Manila Mail DC

A US immigration judge here has given President Barack Obama’s Kenyan aunt, who was ordered deported six years ago, another 10 months to prepare an argument against her deportation.

    “Praise God,â€

Does he have other family members in Kenya?

Does she have other family members here in the United States?

Maybe she should be sponsored by the President Obama, then he could support her.

(Now, I have to admit that I do not keep up with all my aunts, and where they live.) So is not knowing- if becoming the President important? YES! This should have been vetted.

Our laws only apply to the American people.

Typical. Obama and his comrades do whatever they want but demand that the American people follow every law to the finest detail.

His Aunt should be deported, she has broken our laws!

Was it not Obama who said, "We are a Nation of laws." I guess that was just another lie.

What's to be prepared that takes 10 months? The government already told her to get out. She's already been judged to be an illegal alien.

But some local immigration lawyers said her bid for asylum is stronger now that her nephew is the president of the United States. She faces danger if she returns to Kenya, they said.
Preferential treatment here is obvious. We're all in danger whenever we step out of our homes. There are areas near where I live that I refuse to go because I don't feel safe there.

Wong’s spokesman, Mike Rogers, said the next hearing date was set for nearly a year later because Judge Leonard Shapiro’s calendar is so booked.
Then find another judge since this should be fast-tracked. This thing has gone on long enough.

Obama has said he did not know his aunt was living here illegally and believes laws covering the situation should be followed.
Umm... It doesn't look like they have been followed. All indications are that they won't either. That is, until the laws are changed. Then Auntie gets to cut in line of everyone else.

[quote][b]Citing Obama’s statements that relevant laws should be applied to Onyango, William Gheen, who heads Americans for Legal Immigration, said, “If the rule of law were applied in this case, Zeituni Onyango should have been deported a long time ago.â€

Obama is not shielding his aunt because of a sense of family responsibility or he would assist his brother; his aunt most likely has some dirt on him that he does not want revealed.

Yeah, like the knowledge about where, exactly, he was born. I remember reports about her saying he was born in Kenya, then they quickly disappeared and she was not allowed to talk to the media, or anyone, about Obama* again. I think Orly Taitz should subpeona Onyango as a star witness in her birth cert case!
