Lament of a landscaper
Lament of a landscaper
He’s been a Valley landscape contractor for years; he pays decent wages and provides health benefits; he considers himself a loyal, patriotic American. But he asks that I keep his name out of the paper because some of his employees are illegal immigrants and because, he says, “People are nuts. They don’t want to talk about this. They just want to yell at you and string you up.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

"Not one White guy"? Does he hire blacks? The unemployment rate among African-American males with high school diplomas is 50%. That's according to Chuck Schumer. You can just google that to find coverage of that figure.
Most business belong to trade associations or chambers of commerce that have SIGNIFICANT lobbying clout. They have had over 20 years to get a federal law passed that changes our immigration system to allow in more workers. They have not done tried, or maybe the rest of the country has been against them. These businesses still need to follow the law.
We obviously need to switch immigration away from family reunification and towards letting in willing and able workers.

The social security system will collapse without the meager contributions of unskilled illegal aliens?! What a joke.
I have news for this greedy landscaper. Enough with your tired sob stories. Pay a decent wage and citizens from all backgrounds will do the work.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Why doesn't the State and Cities do what some other cities are doing with neighborhood watch programs and take measures to protect the citizens from potential danger? Implement a identification system that must be used where like a "door to door" salesperson must present an authorization in order to do business. Educate the public and state if they "hire" illegals, they could be held in violation of Federal Immigration Laws just as employers can be held because they are "employing" illegals to save themselves money & aiding and embedding a criminal. This could be applicable to domestic help otherwise. Safety & security should be in mind when hiring any person regardless of whether you know them or not. Sometimes you even have to be careful with your own family (those who perpetrate crimes are sometimes closest to you!)
And the neighborhood watch program gave "birth" in AZ?From the Border Movie:
I will not sell my country out ~ I WILL NOT!
I'd like to see that pride back in AMERICA!!!
