Thread: Film takes up cause of Mexican woman imprisoned in Texas

Rosa Jimenez, a 26-year-old Mexican woman currently serving a 99-year sentence in a Texas prison, might not have committed a crime, according to LucÃ*a Bajá, 34, the Mexican director of the documentary “Mi Vida Dentro (My Life Inside).â€

Bajá says that the film was an attempt to broaden the discussion about immigration in Mexico and the U.S. -- a discussion she feels focuses on border crossings, the deaths of migrants en route, and Mexican men sitting on death row.

Very nice. Now go make a movie about Americans who have been murdered by Mexican gang members, American families who have lost a loved one because a Mexican was driving drunk without license or insurance, American families who can't pay for medical treatment that's available free to illegals, Americans who can barely make ends meet because they have to pay taxes that are used to give benefits to illegals. Go ahead.

As well, if she thought something was wrong, and saw the childs face red, then why did she not call for help?

Of course the family will feel for her, and even apologize to her, as they see it, it is now them against the supposed "white peoples system", which means above and beyond the suspicious death of their child under this young womans care, they still have to side with her because she is one of their own, be damned the obviousness of it all.

I do not believe she is innocent, if nothing else, it was outright neglect on her part for not calling for help, and watching that two year old better.
