    Lynn Brezosky - Express-News McALLEN — An Hidalgo County commissioner and her husband were arrested today under a six-count federal indictment alleging they used up to $110,000 in county funds to pay an unauthorized immigrant for household services.

    Sylvia Handy, 52, and husband Juan Gabriel Espronceda, 35, and two co-defendants are to appear in federal court at 3 p.m. today.

    Prosecutors said the couple would select an unauthorized immigrant to be “hiredâ€

    Is THIS what Janet Napolitano is talking about? Going after employers who hire illegals????? This is a "onesy-twosy" scheme!!!!!!! She's going after individual employees as a "scheme" and NOT LARGE BUSINESS EMPLOYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a sham!!!!!!!!!
