I remember in the early 1990's when I heard a news show on the radio that said the cost of medical care to illegals in the state of California was more than 1 billion a year. I was so shocked I repeated the story all day long and for some time after that. Now they estimate the cost at about 10 billion for everything, which I'm sure is not even close.
For twenty-five years illegals have been invading and breaking laws right and left. And, the more they get away with it the more they break the laws knowing we won't do anything. We just plain can't afford the cost anymore. Period.

I cannot stand to hear the tired, old argument that illegals are prohibited from receiving Medicaid. If so, why is it that hundreds of thousands of them receive free prenatal care for months? And it is certainly true that their U.S. citizen children are receiving taxpayer funded medical and dental care. Looking at Medicaid costs for illegal aliens is just part of the picture; their U.S. born children must be included in any study to evaluating costs to taxpayers.

Their US born children should be help financially responsible for them.
