VOICES: On the street: Gangs attract youth, youth struggle for identity
By William MartÃ*nez , La Prensa de Minnesota

Every day there is more news about the increase in gang activity. People wonder what’s happening to the youth of today. The truth is, a lot is happening to them: their families are falling apart; they are suffering from abuse, lack of parental supervision, and abandonment.
I had the opportunity to speak recently with several young people in South Minneapolis. One boy I met was about 16, thin-looking and wearing oversized, threadbare clothes. I asked him why he was involved in a street gang. After five minutes of silence, he started to tell me his story. He came from a broken home. His father had abandoned the family when he was six. He had three siblings. His mother was working two jobs. When this family came to the US from Mexico, they suffered a great deal. His mother, who worked all the time, would usually leave the children with a neighbor. His older brother joined an active gang in Chicago. It's ALL about the money, they use the anchor kids to benefit themselves.
The birthright amendment MUST be repealed to prevent more of these unwanted kids from being born!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

1.) Call Child Protective Services
2.) Call ICE
3.) Deport parents
4.) Send the kids to Mexican ophanages
This is a racket and we are fools for allowing these low-life parents and, subsequently, their feral progeny to degrade our society! It's unacceptable and intolerable! Check out the stories about the 'feral children' of Latin America...we are now infested with them!
