Police said they believe the cache of weapons and drugs found at 133 McKemy St., Apt. 2, are connected to a cartel in Sinaloa, Mexico. The evening's find came after deputies stopped two vehicles south of Tucson early Wednesday, Arizona Department of Public Safety Sgt. Harold Sanders said. The vehicles were stolen and two women were arrested.

Information led authorities to the apartment, where police served a search warrant at 6:40 p.m. and arrested two men, Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force Sgt. David Azuelo said. The identities of the men and women from Mexico have not been released.

The guns were being sold to people in Mexico and the marijuana was packaged to sell in the United States, he said.
