Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Chicken Plant Raid Get Some Help From Home
By Patricia Mucerino
Published: December 6, 2008
Illegal immigrants arrested in a raid at a Greenville chicken plant received some help on Saturday afternoon from the Guatemalan Embassy.
Consultants from the embassy met with a full house in Simpsonville. Those who came to the meeting had to prove they were impacted by the raid
at Columbia Farms in October. Hundreds were arrested and most were charged with using fake documents. Cosultants provided passports and id cards
to some of those arrested in the raid so they can return their home country. Some families were given grocery store gift cards to pay for food.

I'm to assume that those arrested have yet to be sentenced for their crimes, let alone serve out those sentences.
The Guatamelan Consulate would not be encouraging and facilitating flights from justice, would they?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
