To find out, join our Immigration News Hunt with our partners USA Today and its On Deadline blog. For two weeks, starting July 19, 2010, we will collectively look for good journalism about immigration — with a focus on Arizona’s new immigration law.

We need your help in rating how the media are covering the controversial Arizona immigration law.

To find out, USA Today and On Deadline are partnering with the social news site NewsTrust.net for a two-week project -- starting today -- to find good journalism about immigration — with a focus on Arizona's new law and its effects on local and national politics.

We invite you to join the Immigration News Hunt and help find some of the best (and worst) coverage of this hot topic. NewsTrust is a community of citizens and journalists who rate the news based on quality, not just popularity -- by reviewing articles for accuracy, fairness, context and other journalistic qualities.

Arizona's new immigration law has been met with mixed reactions. Supporters feel it's a necessary solution to the difficult problem of illegal immigration, while detractors argue the state law oversteps federal law -- and may encourage racial profiling.

From July 19 to August 1, 2010, NewsTrust is partnering with USA Today and its On Deadline blog to find good (and bad) journalism about immigration -- with a focus on Arizona’s controversial law and its effects on local and national politics.

I posted more than a dozen stories and only 2 of them are "here".
And they had the nerve to ask if John Doe 2 was my "REAL NAME".

So I told them NO.

My "real" name is John Smith.
