Unisys spent $290,000 in second quarter to lobby on trade issues, export controls, immigration

WASHINGTON (AP) - Unisys Corp. spent $290,000 in the second quarter to lobby on trade issues, export controls, immigration reform and other issues, according to a recent disclosure form.

The Blue Bell, Pa.-based company, which provides information technology services and servers, also lobbied on the research and development tax credit, and funding for a number of government agencies, including the departments of Homeland Security, Transportation and Defense.

Besides Congress, Unisys lobbied the departments of Commerce, Defense, Homeland Security and other agencies, according to the disclosure form filed with the Senate clerk's office on July 20.
