DPS: 11 People Found in West Phoenix Drop House

PHOENIX - An investigation into human trafficking led a Department of Public Safety task force to a suspected drop house in the Maryvale area of west Phoenix Wednesday.

DPS spokesman Bart Graves tells The Associated Press that 11 people were found inside the home near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road.

Graves says four of the 11 are suspected human smugglers.

Graves says authorities began investigating the suspected drop house last weekend.
