SAN DIEGO: A man wanted on suspicion of murder in Mexico was arrested by federal agents Wednesday in the Normal Heights neighborhood.
Border Patrol agents, acting on information from the District Attorney's Office, went to a home on 39th Street near Adams Avenue and arrested a man who allegedly admitted being in the United States illegally.
He gave his name as José Luis Lizarraga-Beltrán, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection official said. The man had no criminal history in the United States, but a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of murder in Mazatlan in the state of Sinaloa was issued under the name José Abel Alvarez-Lizarraga. He was to be turned over to Mexican authorities yesterday.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
