The temporary employment of Mexican workers is a proposal to diminish the amount of massive deportations and deaths of migrants upon crossing the border, declared José Ulises MacÃ*as Salcedo.

The archbishop of the Archdioses of Hermosillo explained that the bishops of Mexico and the United States joinced together to require, before the corresponding authorities, a solution to the immigration problem.

Where they plan that American businesses hire, in a temporary form, immigrant workers from the main expeling states of the country, he added.

MacÃ*as Salcedo detailed that the Temporary Workers Project (TTT in Spanish), will have as a purpose the contracting of Mexicans and will alsol include the cost of transportation.

The intention is to avoid the deaths and the different situations of danger that the undocumented migrants pass upon crossing the border of the United States, we intend to help by having them hired in a temporary form. "The situation is like a gigantic wave that each time grows more and apparently is impossible to stop, therefore the community has a commitment of generosity with our suffering brothers".

"We are at a migrant path, the culture of death is being encouraged and worried we are voicing in favor of our brothers, to diminish this problems", he said. The best solution would be that in their county of origin they would have the opportunity to work, he indicated, but because of need the undocumented leave in search of a better future for themselves and their families.

"Some find death, other are deported, and a series of actions, what we need to do is give them an opportunity, it is a very noble proposal on the part of the Church, but as of now there is no official response", he concluded.
