KEARNEY — A forum on immigration issues became emotional for some participants Tuesday at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

“I can no longer think of immigrants as a number or a stat in an Internet article. These are human beings. They’re not ‘those’ people, because they’re people. They’re my neighbors, they’re my students, they’re my students’ parents, and I know their stories,â€

In response to her comment, a student asked if Americans should learn the languages of our neighboring countries. Her question was greeted with applause.
As usual... Americans are expected to accomodate the illegal invader by adapting to their language and refusal to learn English. It's hard to comprehend some people actually believe this to be just. No other country on the face of this planet would think this way. Insanity!

Okay, what is in their water, as these arguments are denying American sovereignty and the importance of getting citizenship the legal way. Giving the illegals a meal, a warm bed, etc., is nothing but aiding and abetting and is really, really against the law (if someone would bother to read and/or enforce them.)

Probably in Crete, NE where they have that Purina pet food place I would guess that is what they are referring to? Also in that neck of the woods is Wilber, NE where they whack up pigs in a meat packing factory.

Who cares about their sob stories. If that was the case, then everybody on the planet would be here.

These people are supposed to be-----

These people are supposed to be-----Americans???

Tell you what--since Obama is so high on government intervention--why doesn't he come into our city of Atlanta here with about 20% unemployment or more for our black youth and offer to help them move to Crete and set up new lives. No welfare, free training and a decent job, the ability to save and buy their own home.

The median male income is only about $31k a year, but within 20 miles, one can find a modest home under $100,000. It's about 40 minutes to Lincoln and around an hour and a half to Omaha. This would provide better lifestyle than a welfare check and a crowded city neighborhood.

What, you say those are jobs Americans won't do?? Why don't we ask them???

How about using stimulus money for moving and living expenses??

Oh well, that doesn't fit the current plan...

    Out numbered and misquoted

Interesting to note that there was supposed to be two proponents and two Opponents on the panel. When I got there (1 hour late because I had a blow out on the interstate) there was three proponents and me the only opponent to illegal immigration.

The hosts and audience were respectful and one brave American made comments supporting NAGs position.

The article somewhat misquoted me. I said that mass deportation was not necessary if we shut off their income, benefits and services they will self-deport. I referred to Illegal Aliens as Illegal Aliens NOT Illegal Immigrants.

During the drive to the university, by the tow truck driver, he said they were expecting another wave of illegal aliens in town because the turkey plant was getting ready to open.

Nebraska Appleseed tried the RACIST AND HATE GROUP about FAIR and tried to discredit me by saying Illegal Aliens pay income taxes and put in more than they ever take out - even though I referenced specific reports by the IRS.

I dread the day when our current university students run the country.

AHHHH! This is nothing more than another Progressive indoctrinating our children....spewing lies instead of facts about illegal immigration, and working on the sympathy of children.....These are the kind of people we better get away from our children.

Nebraska's been fooling around with this problem for years. Every six months or so, they wring their hands, create a committee or study team and move on. The problem is they have too many "paid ladies" like Ben Nelson who don't know guano from guacamole.
