Tonight, a special report from El Paso, Texas: We’re touring
the U.S.-Mexican border with a Texas sheriff’s department, and
we’ll bring you a frontline view of the problems local law
enforcement face while protecting their community from illegal
immigration and violence due to drug smuggling. We’ll have that
special report tonight.

We’ll also speak to Congressman Ted Poe, who says Congress
should be doing more to help local law enforcement fight the
problems caused by illegal immigration.

Mexican trucks are currently restricted to a 25 mile zone in
the United States. But the Bush administration wants to allow
Mexican cargo trucks to travel freely on U.S. soil, and it’s on
track to receive certification from the Transportation
Department for the open-borders plan. Now the Teamsters Union
has announced it will file an appeal against the government
citing safety and security concerns. Tune in for that story.

Earlier this year Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates testified
before Congress saying highly skilled workers should be allowed
to come to the U.S. in greater numbers. Executives at some of
the largest technology companies have joined the call, saying
they are desperate to hire highly skilled foreign workers, and
at an industry summit yesterday they called on the government
to reform immigration policy and relax visa limits. We’ll
report on what the clamor for foreign workers means for
everyday American workers.

That list just makes my blood boil...Americans must wake up ...
