Border Patrol agents rescue 2 women in car trunk

FALFURRIAS - Border Patrol agents at the Falfurrias Border Patrol Station rescued two illegal aliens from the trunk of a car Tuesday.

A K-9 team, during a routine inspection, detected the presence of people or drugs in a blue Pontiac sedan. When agents opened the vehicle’s trunk they discovered two Mexican women.

Other than being subjected to extreme heat and cramped conditions, the women were reported to be in good health. Both females were taken into custody and will be processed for removal to their country of origin.
