Immigrant hiring hall inaugurated—

GRATON, Calif. (AP)—Immigrant organizers in Northern California say the new immigrant worker hiring hall inaugurated today in Graton was the result of many private donations and much volunteer work.

The Graton Day Labor Center had been in the works for seven years. It started as a 50,000 dollar project it soon grew to a 200,000 dollar development as money poured in.

Day laborers provided some of the work, and local residents and contractors donated money and land.

In addition to being a hiring hall, the center will also offer English classes and limited health care screenings.

This is nothing but an open invitation to illegal aliens. What is wrong with the people involved here? Shouldn't they be tried and punished for being traitors? Who in God's name is letting people get away with this absurdity?

All these day lobors all over and we need guest workers , does anyone see something wrong here but me!!

I think many of us see the absurdity of this Sosadforus. Another piece in the puzzle. Sadly, it's like a race to the bottom in terms of the American worker -- in other words the OBL won't be happy until American citizen workers are earning 50 cents an hour or less and our sovereignty, unique culture and standard of living are destroyed.

Anytime someone says we need guest workers, just point them to the nearest street corner or Home Depot where they will find hundreds. Combined we already have over 25-35 million "guest workers."

DITTO to both of you, I am glad I'm not the only one that seems to see this, nobody ever talks about the dayworkers that can't seem to get work!!
