Alvarez sentenced to life without parole


The Elkhart mother who admitted to murdering her four children was sentenced to life without parole.

27-year-old Angelica Alvarez admitted to killing her children last November by giving them sleeping pills and choking them to death.

Then, police say Alvarez tried to hang herself.

Her husband found her unconscious in the basement of their home and their four children dead.

Alvarez accepted a plea bargain to plead guilty in exchange for life in prison, avoiding the death penalty.

That city is close to here. I remember that case. glad to see it was resolved, but would of preferred the death penalty for such a terrible crime.
